How Pavel Tsatsouline's strength-as-skill merges with Christopher Sommer's gymnastic strength training.
The Tsatsouline Element
"Strength is a skill." We treat heavy lifts (Deadlifts, Squats) as practice. High tension, low reps, never to failure. "Irradiation" (core bracing) protects the back and generates maximum power.
The Sommer Element
"Connective tissue first." We prioritize joint preparation, straight-arm strength (Leans, Handstands), and loaded mobility (Jefferson Curls) to bulletproof the body for dynamic movements like the Muscle-Up.
